Kilwinning beauty salon is named the best in Ayrshire at business awards

A Kilwinning beauty studio has been crowned the best in Ayrshire at Scotland's Business Awards.Vanity Studio owner Caroline Beaton and her team were "blown away" by the results on the night and will now compete to be named Scotland's best.Caroline, who opened the business over six years, said: "The past few years have been very challenging with the pandemic and the uncertain future of my salon due to personal circumstances but my determination and hard work allowed my business to survive and grow."I have the most amazing team of girls working and supporting me in the salon.

Shannon, Eilidh, Murron and Chelsea work really hard in the salon. We always support and help each other whether it’s preparing for clients, answering the phone or making teas and coffees for our clients."Vanity Studio was nominated for an award previously but was unsuccessful.

This time round, the win was a surprise for the owner as they "were up against amazing salons" once again.Caroline said: "We were completely blown away with the award and it’s all thanks to those who have supported us and the many clients who come through the salon doors daily.
