Kate Middleton "definitely doesn't want an apology" to end her disagreement with Meghan Markle, says a royal expert. However, Meghan has a different perspective on the matter, according to royal expert and author Tom Quinn. The relationship between the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex has been closely watched since their disagreement was detailed in Prince Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare.
In the book, Prince Harry described finding Meghan in tears "on the floor" after a dispute with Kate over bridesmaid dresses.Quinn has now shared his thoughts on what needs to happen for the relationship between the Sussexes and the Wales family to improve.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Quinn said: "Kate definitely doesn't want an apology, but Meghan definitely does. William just thinks the whole thing is a storm in a teacup and can't understand why his brother can't get over the sort of spat that many brothers have to go through.
Meghan and Harry feel hurt by the way they were treated when they were working members of the royal family and William and Kate feel they were treated poorly once Harry and Meghan left and Harry published Spare." Prince William and Kate are reportedly trying their best to mend the rift with Prince Harry and Meghan, according to Quinn.
