Kate Middleton Addresses Dealing With Anxiety During Anna Freud Charity Visit Amid Mental Health Week

The Princess of Wales stopped by the Anna Freud Charity on Thursday (May 18) in London, England. During her visit to the charity, a favorite of hers that provides support to families, she sat in for a roundtable discussion before participating in a conversation with high schoolers. Read more about Princess Catherine’s visit… According to People, the focus for the week was “Anxiety,” which Princess Catherine said she personally understood. “She said she ‘had to learn and she’s still learning every day,’” Dame Kelly Holmes recalled Princess Catherine saying about her experiences with anxiety. “Doing public speaking isn’t a natural thing for lots of people, and she said she’s still working that out, how to project,” she continued, adding, “She humanized everything to show not everyone’s perfect.” Kelly added that her speaking to candidly “showed somebody of her stature and status is human as well.” This is Princess Catherine‘s second big outing for Mental Health Awareness Week.
