Kate Garraway has shared the heartbreaking request her two children have made in the wake of their father Derek Draper's death, as she opened up on dealing with grief.

Kate, 56, discussed mourning a loved one on Good Morning Britain on Friday, 9 February, following the passing of her husband Derek on 3 January.

She was joined by EastEnders star Larry Lamb, 76, who spoke about losing his brother in 2019. “We are not equipped for loss.

No one is equipped for it. Nobody wants to be able to face it but we are all going to come against it at some point in our lives," the mum-of-two said.
