Kate Bush says she is eager to begin work on a new album as she admitted 'it's been a long time'. The 66-year-old singer, known for her hit 'Hounds Of Love', last released a studio album in 2011 titled '50 Words For Snow'.
Two years ago, her record-breaking song 'Running Up That Hill' was named the UK’s biggest summer song of 2022 by the Official Charts Company, following its renewed popularity after being featured in the fourth series of Stranger Things. "I’m very keen to start working on a new album," Bush told Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, who gasped in response.
She continued: "I’ve got lots of ideas. I’m really looking forward to getting back into that creative space. It’s been a long time." When questioned about potential stage performances, Bush admitted that while she enjoyed performing, she is "not there yet".
