Josh Hartnett may be back in Hollywood, but he’s still hanging his hat in jolly old England. He and his wife, British actress Tamsin Egerton, live in the Hampshire countryside with their four children.
Speaking to the BBC this week, the Trap star explained how much he loves the pastoral setting: But when asked the thing he likes best about raising his kids — Olive, Poppy, Lavender, and Grape — in the UK, he had to admit it’s the safety. That shouldn’t even be considered a political statement. If all our politicians were human beings, and they were willing to both fight for and help spread the message of common sense gun safety reforms, just enough to keep our children safe from automatic weapons and the mentally unstable wielding them… It’s crazy this is an issue parents have to decide on. “Will my kids grow up with an accent?” “Will the schools in this area give them the best chance for success?” “What are the odds the children will be shot in their classroom?” Heartbreaking.
