Fans of ITV's Saturday Morning with James Martin were not pleased with today's (16 December) episode, due to a guest appearance from Cliff Richard.

The veteran pop star appeared on the show with Judi Love and the pair tried James' cod and roast beef. But viewers said the 83 year old's appearance was "insufferable" following previous "fat-shaming" comments while on another TV show, reports The Mirror.

The official ITV Saturday Morning account posted: "This am @jamesmartinchef is joined by Sir Cliff Richard and @1Judilove, who try cod, roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, and chicken blanquette. @RichardBertinet, @_LisaAllen and Sat Bains are in the house too, cooking up a storm with some delicious recipes!

See you at 9.30, @ITV." However, viewers were not impressed and took to Twitter to express their annoyance. One viewer wrote: "Cliff Richards is insufferable, sorry James.
