CBS Media Ventures’ syndicated game show The Flip Side, hosted by Jaleel White, is set to launch this fall on CBS Stations.
It is the first official syndicated greenlight for next season. Debmar-Mercury had previously announced a Ken Jeong talk show targeting next fall.
It has not been decided yet what stations and what time slots The Flip Side will run on as the CBS Stations have duopolies in most major markets.
CBS Media Ventures’ The Drew Barrymore Show was recently renewed for next season on the CBS Stations. “Game shows have been a bright spot in syndication — and network prime-time — the last few years,” said Wendy McMahon, President and CEO of CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures in making the announcement. “Their loyal viewers tune in more times per week than any other genre.
