J.D. Amato Joins ‘After Midnight’ With Taylor Tomlinson As Co-Showrunner For Season 2
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: J.D. Amato (Desus & Mero) has joined After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson as a new co-showrunner on the upcoming second season.
He’ll join Jack Martin who will continue to serve as co-showrunner on the CBS late-night show. Amato most recently served as executive producer on the fourth season of late-night talker Desus & Mero on Showtime.
He also was an executive producer on The Chris Gethard Show from 2015-2018. Season 2 kicks off on Tuesday, September 3. Guests Thomas Lennon, Kimia Behpoornia and Sandy Honig will join Taylor on September 3, followed by Guy Branum and Kate Micucci on September 4 and Jordan Temple and Will Miles on September 5.
Amato will take over duties from Eric Pierce, who departed earlier this summer. After Midnight is produced by CBS Studios, Spartina Industries and Funny Or Die.
