Good Morning Britain viewers have got into a furious debate over whether to bother making your bed each day, with some calling it "disgusting" not to while others branded it a waste of time. The ITV breakfast news show, hosted by Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, asked viewers to vote on whether they made their beds each day after footballer Jude Bellingham admitted that his mum still makes his bed.

A huge 81% of viewers claimed to make their beds daily, while 19% admitted that they didn't bother with the household chore. The question sparked some strong responses on social media as one viewer commented: "Always make your bed you disgusting peasant." Someone else added: "I make my bed every day.

Can’t believe that some people don’t." Another horrified viewer wrote: "First people not changing their pants, and now not making their bed. That’s like saying your teeth will be dirty again after eating so why brush them?

Have a word with yourself!!" Someone else commented: "Make my bed every single day without fail. Would freak me out if I had to get into an unmade bed at night." One viewer explained: "I make my bed every morning, because I served 38.5 years with the British army it's just a force of habit, due to room inspections."
