Two professional skaters have announced they are quitting Dancing On Ice after the 2025 series as they thanked ITV for the chance to work on the 'greatest show on ice'.
Both Mark Hanretty and Brendyn Hatfield, popular professional skaters on the much-loved skating contest, have announced that the upcoming 17th series will be their last.
The pair each took to Instagram to confirm that they will compete on the show for the last time in 2025 in a bid to win with their celebrity partners.
Mark, who first appeared on the show in 2011 partnering Loose Women's Nadia Sawalha, is the longest-serving professional on the show. READ MORE: BBC Strictly Come Dancing pro accuses judges of 'overmarking' and slams star's 'worst dance so far' Sharing the news with fans of Instagram, he wrote: "Hard to believe I’m embarking on my 12th series of Dancing on Ice," he wrote. "I’m as excited as ever and so grateful for the chance to work on the greatest show on ice once again." Mark then announced: "This will be my last year as a pro skater and I’m eager to soak up every second of it." He then wished the team good luck for a fantastic series.
