The elderly man opened his door to see if he could help but McShane tried to barge past him, shouting, "let me in, let me in".The pensioner fell to the floor but managed to get up and shoved McShane back into the close.The couple alerted the police and saw a pair of boxer shorts being put through the letterbox.Officers arrived to find McShane still in the close, naked and shouting abuse.

He appeared to be sweating and his eyes were glazed.He threw a doormat, hitting an officer with it, then bit the same officer who ended up in hospital and needed a Hepatitis B jag.Anot
