Simon Cowell

ITV Britain's Got Talent star hospitalised shows severe leg injury after live on-stage accident

A Britain's Got Talent star has shared a gruesome photo of his injury after being rushed to hospital following the final. The last live show of the ITV talent show's 2024 run aired on Sunday night (June 2).

Eleven acts took to the stage in a bid to win the show, the £250,000 prize money and a spot at this year's Royal Variety Performance.

And the crown was eventually taken by singer Sydnie Christmas who wowed with her rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. But also during the big final on Sunday, two members of the Ssaulabi Performance Troupe collided in mid-air, rather than kicking a wooden block. The performer was seen hobbling out of Hammersmith Apollo to the ambulance, where he was taken to hospital, as worried judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli looked on in horror.
