Incredible Olympians from Lanarkshire swimming club recalled at permanent gallery exhibition in town

Memories of swimming baths and Olympians from an amateur club will come flooding back as they’re recalled at a permanent gallery exhibition in Lanarkshire.The families of former Motherwell Amateur Swimming and Water Polo Club members, community and staff came together to officially open the new Olympians Gallery at North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre.It marked the 75th anniversary of the London games, and the incredible members of the Motherwell club, who represented Great Britain in 1948.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
