Steve was left devastated after finding out about Tracy (Kate Ford) and Tommy Orpington's (Matt Milburn) affair in sad scenes.
Ex-footballer Tommy then revealed he was moving to Spain, leaving Tracy devastated. However, his exit prompted Tracy to try and patch things up with husband Steve, who quickly accepted her offer of rekindling.
Their reunion was short-lived however, as Tracy found out Tommy had penned her a love letter upon his exit, only for Steve to find it and burn it behind her back.Tracy then announced she would be heading to Spain to follow her new love interest, leaving Steve once again devastated.
