Livingston boss David Martindale LOVES Celtic and Rangers bringing bumper away crowds to their stadium - despite the Lions blasting the Green Brigade's behaviour at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday. The West Lothian side issued a statement criticising Celtic's ultras group, claiming that they had ignored protocol to unveil a huge tifo in the East Stand prior to kick-off, having previously been told by Livi and the local police that it would not be brought into the stadium.

However, the Green Brigade were able to sneak the tifo in through an emergency gate that had been left open due to concerns over safety. The club are now conducting a probe into events at the game, with another banner also being unveiled by the Green Brigade in the second half of Celtic's 3-0 win on Sunday.

But despite Livi's outrage, manager Martindale says he has no problem with dishing out large away support allocations for visiting clubs and insists it is vital to his club's financial stability.Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday's home match against Aberdeen, he said: "Would I rather have a stadium full of 8,000 Old Firm fans in it?

Yep, all day long. It brings its own problems but I think it brings a great atmosphere to that game of football"I don't mind it if there is eight and a half thousand Celtic, eight and a half thousand Rangers, four thousand Hearts, four thousand Hibs or three thousand Aberdeen.
