With no money, no qualifications and no business plan, Paige took a leap of faith by borrowing a £20,000 loan from her nan. What began as a Prestwich-based makeup salon has now transformed into a brand recognised by millions worldwide: P.Louise.
As the company is projected to rake in a staggering £65million this year, the 31 year old entrepreneur has shared her inspiring journey to success. "My background was never privileged," she confessed to the Manchester Evening News. "You hear that from a lot of entrepreneurs, but it has given me a different sense of hunger as a woman." Realising it wasn't the right career for her, she became a MAC makeup artist and worked at the Selfridges counter. As her signature glam style gained popularity, Paige started offering her services as a freelancer, eventually becoming so sought-after that she could leave her retail job.
