Former royal butler Paul Burrell left I'm A Celebrity... South Africa viewers annoyed, just moments after opening his mouth, as quickly mentioned his royal connections.

Paul, 64, found fame due to his connections to the royal family, namely the late Princess Diana, for whom he worked as a butler.

In his interview ahead of arriving in the I'm A Celeb camp, he said: "Most people will know me from being a footman to Her Majesty and butler to Diana, Princess of Wales." Some viewers were not too happy with this name-dropping, and took to Twitter to share their feelings about Paul's "annoying habit." One fan wrote: "Getting ready for the 'take a drink every time Paul Burrell mentions Diana and he was her rock' #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity." "It took Paul Burrell approximately 0.55 seconds before he mentioned Diana #ImACeleb" added another, while a third joked: "Not like Paul Burrell to mention Princess Diana #ImACeleb." And a fourth added: "It took less than 10 seconds for Paul Burrell to namedrop the Queen and Princess Diana #ImACeleb." Ahead of his appearance on the show Paul, who finished runner-up in the 2004 series of the show, explained: "I loved doing it the first time around and to be asked again is very special." He added: "It's like coming into the final of the jungle Olympics.

I had to eat kangaroo testicles in Australia, and I am expecting everything to be bigger in South Africa." Paul was quick to note that things would be "different" this time around as he is a "different person now".
