Manchester City passed their final challenge of the Premier League season on Sunday, beating West Ham to lift the trophy in front of their jubilant fans.

Watching on inside the ground was five-year-old Mirabelle-Mae, a young supporter whose love of City is helping her to get through her battle with spina bifida - a birth defect where the spine and spinal cord don't develop properly in the womb to leave a gap in the spine.

Mirabelle will undergo the seventh operation of her young life this summer, and with any luck mum Natalie says that "one last hurdle and she's nearly there".

After getting in touch with the club through Colin Bell's son Jon, a doctor at The Christie hospital where Mirabelle has received help in the past, the family were invited to watch City's win over Wolves earlier this month and managed to meet a number of players afterwards including favourite Erling Haaland.
