Boxing star Ryan Garcia, who sports a 25-1 record with 20 knockouts, was arrested Saturday night at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills.

Garcia appeared calm when taken by police from the hotel, reports indicate. He was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism.

His lawyer sad later that Garcia “was taken by the BHPD to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.” A watch commander at the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed the arrest.

Damage over $400 is considered a felony under California law. The boxer’s attorney, Darin Chavez, told ESPN that his client might also face charges of public intoxication.
