The fashion expert uploaded a YouTube video recently where she explained how Middleton applies the hack, even utilizing it for her 2011 wedding to husband Prince William.Holden revealed that Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, who designed her wedding dress, “is no stranger to making women’s figures look even more incredible than they already are.” “Let’s face it, Kate doesn’t really need any help,” Holden gushed.“However, Sarah really understands just how important proportion and balance is in any outfit to make the most of the beautiful figure that is wearing it,” she added of the designer’s creative process.

The dress was created with satin and lace and the bodice incorporated floral motifs. Burton told the Daily Mail back in 2011 that the inspiration for the garment was both past and present. She divulged: “We wanted to look to the past, yet look to the future as well.

There were a lot of references to Victorian corsetry, the padded hip, the tiny cinched-in waist, and also to the arts and crafts movement with all of the hand-work on the lace of the dress and also the bustle inside to create the shape of the back of the dress.”Middleton has cemented herself as a fashion icon.
