Joe Otterson TV Reporter Hello Sunshine has entered into a first-look deal with Ross Greenburg Productions to develop and produce unscripted content centered on female sports, Variety has learned exclusively.
Hello Sunshine, a Candle Media company, will work with RGP to add to their existing roster of unscripted female sports projects like “Surf Girls” at Amazon and “F1 Academy” at Netflix. “Ross is one of the most respected sports producers in the industry,” said Sara Rea, head of unscripted at Hello Sunshine. “He is a talented and trusted creative that has a keen eye for great stories and an unmatched record in the world of sports.
We are thrilled to partner with Ross and we already have some exciting projects in development together.” Greenburg previously spent 30 years at HBO Sports, serving as president of the network from 2000-2011.
He has executive produced a wide range of women’s sports documentaries in his career, including “Dare to Compete: The Struggle of Women in Sports,” “Dare to Dream: The Story of the U.S.
