Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could potentially lose their lavish £12 million Montecito home amid ongoing legal disputes over the Duke's US visa, sparked by a lawsuit from the Heritage Foundation demanding transparency on whether his past drug use was declared. The controversy follows Prince Harry's candid revelations of previous drug consumption in his explosive memoir 'Spare', released in January 2023, which has raised questions about his visa application honesty.Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams spoke to The Sun about the potential embarrassment this situation could cause, stating: "The fact of the matter is that it will be very embarrassing, or may be very embarrassing."He speculated on the contents of Harry's visa forms, saying: "Harry may have included drug use on his application form.

If he hasn't, it will unquestionably make headlines, and that will not be beneficial so far as the Sussexes are concerned." Fitzwilliams also touched on the perceived hypocrisy the Sussexes might face, adding: "If you attack an institution, supporters of that institution, or those who believe that you've been very unwise and very foolish, believe that there are double standards."Should the visa issue escalate, Prince Harry risks deportation from the United States, which would mean abandoning the couple's £12m estate in California, where they live with their children Archie and Lilibet, reports the Express.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on
