Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin says his side got fans off their seats in the first half of their 1-0 win over Brechin City, but admits the second half fell flat.But the New Douglas Park gaffer was delighted to see striker Kevin O'Hara get off the mark with a 21st-minute penalty winner against the Highland League side, after he was tripped inside the box.That gives Accies a good chance to progress in the competition as they head for Premiership side Livingston on Saturday, but Rankin says it's still a work in progress.He said: "I'm delighted for Kev, he works ever so hard for the team, as a whole."He puts centre-backs under pressure, gets us up the pitch, sets the press and sets triggers himself, and he's really important to what we're trying to do."I was really pleased with the first-half performance, I thought we played some really good stuff, attacking football, it was free-flowing."I thought all 11 players played a really good part in the first half, Jamie Smith makes a good save at the other end and has the concentration to do that when we were dominating the game."We got ourselves in front and after that we probably had three or four shots from really good play, we got people off their seats with forward play, forward passes, and we were pleased with the first-half performance."Rankin added: "In the second half you've got to give Brechin credit, they came out, pressed, they harried, and they had everything to play for."They went four up front at times and that caused us problems, just because they were so expansive, with regards to trying to get a point, and fair play to them."But we had to manage to manage it better and we didn't do that as well as we should have done."If we got a goal in the second half it would
