Popular gig venue Gorilla is remaining closed after cancelling gigs last week. In a post to social media, it assured customers and gig-goers that the venue is ‘temporarily closed’.
It then advised those with food and bookings or gig tickets that either the venue itself or agents for the gigs would be in touch to make other arrangements.
The message reads: “Due to unforeseen circumstances we are temporarily closed. If you have a food and drink booking with us this weekend our reservations team will be in touch to reschédule or find you somewhere else to party! Our closure is only temporary and we will be back with you all very soon! loads of love, team gorilla xx.” Last week, a show by Swedish band Goat was shifted from Gorilla to Club Academy, though tickets for shows in the coming days, including indie pop band Teleman, club night Slap!
