Gordon Ramsay was unable to dress himself after his horror cycling accident, after which he said he was "lucky to be here". The 57-year-old chef was left severely bruised and in pain following a "really bad" smash on his bike in June in Connecticut.
At the time, he posted to his social media where he was seen lifting his chef's whites to show substantial purple bruising on his torso for which he required hospital treatment.
He addressed his message to "all the dads out there" ahead of Father's Day as the star of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen star stressed the importance of wearing a helmet. I want to wish you all a happy Father's Day, but please, please, please wear a helmet. If I didn't, honestly, I wouldn't be here now." Gordon's now admitted the swelling was initially so bad, he was left feeling like a "95-year-old man" because he needed his assistant Justin Mandel to help with everything.
