Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Good Morning Britain viewers divided as Charlotte Hawkins breaks 'priceless' item in prank

Good Morning Britain viewers have been left divided by the show's April Fool's Day prank.The segment started with a pearl necklace being brought into the studio, which was said to have been a honeymoon gift to Marilyn Monroe from her second husband Joe DiMaggio.

It was then announced that the new owner of the necklace had given presenter Charlotte Hawkins permission to try on the priceless artefact.

However, when she did so, the necklace unthreaded with pearls falling all over the studio. Following a rather awkward couple of minutes, in which Charlotte and co-host Richard Madeley appeared unsure on what to do, it was revealed that the necklace had absolutely no value or link to Marilyn and was a part of an April Fool's Day trick.

This prank left viewers rather divided, with some falling for trick while others claimed it was "too obvious." Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Obviously an April fool #AprilFoolsDay #gmb." "That was the worst April fools ever!
