Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle was a true friend to Cheryl during the finale of their tour this week, stepping in to sing her line on stage as Cheryl struggled.

The duo, along with Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, were performing "The Promise" at Belfast SSE Arena when Cheryl, 40, subtly reached out to Nadine, signalling she needed assistance.Despite appearing momentarily taken aback, Nadine, 38, quickly agreed and confidently delivered Cheryl's part: "If you wanna forgive me start again, if you wanna be with me in my arms..." As the performance came to an end, the group, donning matching gold gowns, triumphantly raised their arms for the final pose.Fans captured the supportive exchange on Monday night, and the video has since circulated online.

This act of solidarity indicates that Nadine and Cheryl have moved past their previous disagreements following the band's split in 2013.Nadine had previously expressed to The Mirror that she felt "blindsided" by the breakup, which she claimed was presented to her just moments before their last show on the Ten: The Hits Tour, suggesting the others had been "plotting" without her knowledge.

She remarked: "I didn't want the band to end, it was as simple as that. I didn't think we were going to end we had done all the promo saying we were all together, having a great tour, wearing Victoria's Secret wings and stomping up and down the catwalk every night, loving every single minute of it.", reports the Mirror. "And then, on the very last night of the tour, our management and publicist came up to me and said the girls wanted to split up the band.
