A man was found dead near a branch of Starbucks this morning. Police said that officers were called to Rainford Road, near Windle Island off the East Lancs Road in St Helens earlier today.
Merseyside Police said the man has not yet been formally identified. His death is being treated as non-suspicious, the Echo reports.
Officers confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that emergency services were at a premises on Rainford Road in St Helens this morning, Sunday 9 June, following the death of a man. He is yet to be formally identified. "His death is being treated as non-suspicious and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.
