George Clooney’s Lake Como villa may have a buyer: ‘Very interested’

He later purchased an adjacent property, making it “one of the largest private homes in the area,” according to The Wall Street Journal, which reported last year that the villa’s value was estimated at more than $100 million.“It must be said that over and above being a very good actor and investor, he’s also an extremely shrewd investor, given that he bought the villa for 10 million euros,” an unidentified insider told People last week of Clooney’s financial acumen.The estate boasts 25 rooms as well as stunning views of Lake Como.
At nearly 100,000 square feet, the property features a vegetable garden, a swimming pool, a private gym, a cinema room, a basketball court, two docks and a pier.
