George Clarke ‘feels ill’ as he pays price of fame and shares ‘hardest thing’
ok.co.ukArchitect George Clarke, who hosts Channel 4's George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, has confessed that he hates watching himself on TV, even going as far as to say it makes him feel 'ill'.
As well as fronting Amazing Spaces, George also hosts a multitude of other Channel 4 shows, including The Home Show and The Restoration Man.The 50 year old has previously opened up about watching himself back on his programmes, as he confessed he doesn't see himself as a 'celebrity' despite his time in the spotlight.
Speaking to Irish News, he said: “I never use the ‘C’ word – which for me is ‘Celebrity’. I don’t want to be a celebrity. I want to be a good architect.
I want to make and craft really beautiful programmes that people love watching. “I set up my own TV production company five years ago because I love the process of making a TV show and getting beautiful shots and writing nice scripts.
