Gemma Atkinson has shared her support for Gorka Marquez and his new Strictly Come Dancing partner following the big reveal. The hit BBC One dance show returned to screens on Saturday night (September 14) with the pre-recorded launch show.

The first episode of the 2024 series saw Strictly welcome back hosts, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman to the iconic ballroom along with the show's knowledgeable judges, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.

As well as revealing which celebrity contestants were paired with which of the talented professional dancers, the launch show featured five epic performances including a fun, fancy footwork filled routine from the pros - and cameos from the wider Strictly family - encouraging everyone to get aboard the Strictly Bus.
