Gorka Marquez gives Dr Punam Krishan Strictly training update after ditching home for Scotland

Fans were ecstatic as the class of 2024 was officially welcomed into the iconic ballroom last Saturday night (September 14) by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman during the colourful and energetic pre-recorded launch show.
During the show, it was revealed that Gorka would be paired with practising GP and Morning Live's resident doctor Dr Punam. The following day, Gorka was seen packing his bags for Glasgow to get stuck into training with Dr Punam ahead of the first live show on Saturday (September 21). Taking to Instagram, he shared a selfie in which tears could be seen filling his eyes and falling down his cheeks. He spoke about people being "scared" to show their "vulnerable" side and decided to share him "having a moment that sometimes we hide or keep for ourselves, especially being a man".
