The government has announced households all across the country will soon receive £400 off their energy bills. The Energy Bills Support Scheme will see the discount be administered by energy suppliers over a six month period, starting from October 22 to help vulnerable households through the winter months.

Households will initially see a discount of £66 applied to their energy bill in October and November which will rise to £67 from December through March 2023.
