In a recent interview, Roxy told Hello! that because of her miscarriage last year, they were reluctant about announcing this pregnancy to the world straight away. "We had a miscarriage last year and so there was a part of me that was worried to open up too soon about this baby because I was so worried something would happen again and I didn’t want to have to kind of tell the world.” The pair found out Roxy was pregnant again the same week her nan sadly passed away while on a trip to visit her parents in Australia. "We found out the same week my nan passed away.
There's a part of me that feels like my nan knew we were trying for a baby and maybe this was her gift to us," she said. Fans were quick to flood the couple with sweet messages, with many eager to see what the comedian’s dad content would be like.
