Nope, as we just reported, instead, Jon Favreau will be directing a movie tentatively titled, for now, “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” That’s a surprise movie because previously, we only knew of three movies in the works: one from Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (‘The Jedi Order’ film with Rey), one from James Mangold (the ‘Dawn Of the Jedi’ about the origins of the Jedi, and one from Dave Filoni (presumed to be “Heir To The Empire” which will be the finale of all the Disney+ stories with the Mandalorian on the big screen).
