Erling Haaland delivered the perfect response to Marc Cucurella on the pitch at Stamford Bridge after being taunted by the European Championship winner this summer - and then offered a withering riposte off it as well.

Cucurella celebrated Spain’s triumph in Germany by singing a popular terrace chant that praises him before mocking Haaland. City’s first action against Chelsea was to deliver a high ball for Haaland to win against the diminutive left-back.
