Emmerdale star quit acting to open a weed bar in Thailand
ok.co.ukFollow OK! on Threads here: https://www.threads.net/@ok_mag Emmerdale star Kelli Hollis decided to quit acting in favour of opening up a cafe bar where people can use cannabis instead.The 47 year old actress appeared in the Dales between 2011 and 2015 as Sean and Amelia Spencer's mother, Ali.
After a brief marriage to Dan Spencer, Ali entered into a relationship with Ruby Haswell, which also didn't last.The character later moved away to Liverpool with her sister Rachel Freckle in 2015.
Almost three years after leaving the village, the mum-of-two was killed off-screen in a car accident, leaving Dan as Amelia and Sean's sole guardian.
But despite Kelli receiving much praise for her explosive portrayal of troubled character Ali in the soap, as well as being critically-acclaimed for her roles in the Channel 4 Tina Crabtree films and Shameless, the star decided to leave the acting world behind.
