Emmerdale for three years until her character was killed off in a dramatic car crash in January 2018, endured four different rehab stints after leaving the Yorkshire Dales.
The actress has since turned the pain she experienced into a one-woman show. The ITV star spoke candidly after leaving the Yorkshire Dales soap.
Louise has now launched a GoFundMe page to help finance her one-woman show with two special performances at The Rosemary Branch in London in July.
She told MailOnline: "Having completely decimated my life, this appeal is asking for the opportunity to put my life back together again. "READ MORE: Tom Parker's widow Kelsey 'splits from boyfriend'Louise continued: "Performing my way out of a hole that I created for myself with a show that I've written called Rita Lynn: The Life Coach Who Wanted To Die. "Rita Lynn is about the life coach that wanted to die and she represents the voice in my head. "My addict brain that nearly killed me and kept me as sick as long as I was. "She added: "I was very unwell for a very long time and because of that I want to use my platform to help other people and that's what I'm asking for the opportunity to do really. "Louise left Emmerdale in 2018 with 10 actors leaving the soap in the space of a year.
