Emmerdale's Tony Audenshaw breaks silence on co-star's tragic exit with sad message

In a heartbreaking episode, Heath died after a car crash, leaving the cast and crew to bid farewell to actor Sebastian Dowling.The accident happened when Heath's twin sister Cathy Hope was driving their car, which crashed into a stone wall.The devastating scenes saw Bob holding his son as Wendy confessed there was nothing they could do.
Paramedics arrived only to confirm Heath's death. Sebastian's real-life twin sister Gabrielle Dowling, who plays Cathy, will continue her role in the soap.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Tony said: "It's been brilliant because they're the kids that were here since they were born.
I remember, and it doesn't seem that long ago since we shot up on the moors the babies being born. It just doesn't seem that long ago and obviously it's nearly 17 years now." He added: "And for those two, it has been totally part of their life.
