Emmerdale’s Mack star Lawrence Robb gives his verdict on 'weird fan theories'

Emmerdale fans have taken to Twitter over recent weeks to have their say on Mackenzie Boyd's latest love triangle with his estranged wife Charity Dingle and the mother of his child Chloe Harris, however they're not the only ones, with Lawrence Robb himself revealing he's seen the "bizarre" theories around his character.

The soap star, who joined Emmerdale in 2020, spoke to OK! about his character's recent storyline which saw Charity discover that Mackenzie was actually the father of Chloe's baby Reuben.

Although, some fans aren't convinced that Reuben is his biological son. "I was sent something with the idea that Nate was the dad, which I thought was bizarre in itself,” he says. “I guess not too strange, given the fact that Chloe and Nate were romantically involved, but that was a long time before the baby. "And hearing a fan theory that Paddy’s the dad… I don’t know what planet that person’s on!" he adds.

Back in May, viewers took to social media to speculate that Nate Robinson, who previously dated Chloe, was actually the real father of Reuben, with one writing: "It's going to all kick off when it turns out the father of Chloe's baby is Nate." While Charity is now aware that Mack is the father of Chloe's baby, upcoming episodes will see Mack torn between his estranged wife and his new love as he tries to move on with Chloe but finds himself feeling jealous when Charity sleeps with Caleb.
