An electric bike burst into flames in the street in Salford on Tuesday evening (August 15). Fire crews closed off part of Hamilton Street and Douglas Street after they were called out to the incident.

Dramatic pictures shared by Pendleton ward councillor John Warmisham showed the moment the e-bike erupted into flames outside a house at around 6pm as locals watched on.
