Drag Race star Bianca del Rio casts more shade than the Burj Khalifa in her hilarious set

BIANCA del Rio is real drag royalty and her Scottish subjects adore this sassiest of all queens.She may have won Ru Paul’s Drag Race season six but even the show that made her a world wide star was not left out of her acid tongued invective.For an hour and a half Bianca slaughtered everyone and anyone she could.

No-one was safe.She took apart lesbians, the rest of the LGBTQ+ community, straight people, the woke movement, children, fellow drag artistes, Dundee and even a woman in the audience who is dying of cancer - telling her she was using her illness for attention.Her victim was ripped apart as Bianca laughed about how she would be dead soon.It was brutal.

But, in spite of your inner conscience, it was also hilarious.She casts more shade than the Burj Khalifa. In fact this queen is so shady that when you look her name up in a dictionary it shows you an advert for Hillary’s Blinds.Even a lighting malfunction didn’t stop her in her stride but the tech must have squirming as he received her 100mph tongue lashing.There were moments when the show felt a little bogged down and repetitive but they were rare and as soon as you began to think it was getting away from her she would hit you right back between the eyes with a killer expletive filled line.The show was unquestionably hers but her Scots support act Mary Mac is also worthy of mention.From the little we saw of her, Mary could well be a young pretender to del Rio’s throne.She’s sharp, cruel, crude and funny - exactly how the best queens should be.

And how fabulous to hear a singing queen instead of a lip-synching stereotype.This is not a show for the easily offended and del Rio is much more gritty on stage than fans who only know her from Drag Race might expect.But if
