Even in the safety of our own homes, children are prone to accidents and little mishaps. The typical household will likely see it's fair share of cuts, grazes, bumps and bruises during lockdown.

In fact, since being at home 73 per cent of parents have had to deal with minor injuries, with 29 per cent unsure when it’s necessary to see a healthcare professional, according to research by Elastoplast.

With GPs and A&E departments under pressure, it’s more important than ever to treat wounds safely to prevent infection and ensure nothing gets in the way of play time.
