Callous granddaughter clears out £5000 of gran's savings then tells her 'I will fix it'
Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, Leitch, 38, admitted stealing £4,500 from Isabella McLeod between 28 December, 2018, and 8 February, 2019.Fiscal depute David Currie told the court the matter came to light and when a check on the pensioner's account was carried out her savings had disappeared. He said Leitch had been a regular visitor to her grandmother's home and had taken the card and account details before embarking on the theft spree.Mr Currie said: "When the bank statements were checked they showed unauthorised cash withdrawal transactions."There were a number from 28 December to 8 February.
