Dancing on Ice star and radio DJ Adele Roberts has announced the death of her mum, Jackie. The 44-year-old took to Instagram to share that she had dedicated her most recent dance on the show to her beloved mum who passed away at the beginning of January.

Adele shared a heartwarming picture of her showing off her skating boots to her poorly mum, as well as a clip of Jackie watching her on the ice.

Adele had appeared emotional as she took to the ice on Sunday with her partner Mark Hanretty, 38, as they performed to Clearly by Grace VanderWaal.

But Adele revealed that she had opted not to share that the dance had been dedicated to her mum until she had managed to ‘get through’ the routine.
