Coronation Street has informed fans to 'remember' as they issued a joint statement alongside Emmerdale. ITV's flagship soaps don't always join forces but they did on Monday (July 29) to reveal a change which they hope is a 'treat' to viewers.

Just as was the case with Euro 2024 not too long ago, the network has revealed that both soaps are available to stream on ITVX from early in the morning.

It means that soap lovers don't have to wait until 7.30pm for Emmerdale on weeknights or 8pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for Corrie to air. "We're giving you a little treat this summer whilst the Olympics are on," the post says. "On each day of transmission, you can find Corrie and Emmerdale episodes on ITVX at 7am!"
