Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has hit back at ITV viewers after mounting speculation the 48-year-old has gone under the knife for a hair transplant.
The rumours came after he was spotted wearing a cap in an earlier episode this week.The Steve McDonald actor shut down the rumours following Monday night's visit to the Cobbles, as viewers of the popular soap were convinced he was masking the procedure with his 'new look' by sporting the accessory on his head.Monday's episode saw dad Steve support his daughter Amy Barlow after she stood up to her rapist Aaron Sandiford at her first party since she was attacked.
But it appears more people were distracted by what he was wearing than the explosive scene.The hour-long episode saw actor Simon wearing a black baseball hat whilst inside and outdoors and, while some suspected he had gone under the knife, others hinted that he could be hiding a dodgy haircut.
