Una Healy insists she was ‘hoodwinked’ into throuple as she breaks silence
ok.co.ukUna Healy has finally broken her silence regarding the "throuple" that she was reportedly in with boxer David Haye and his girlfriend, Sian.The 41 year old mother of two, who found fame as part of girlband The Saturdays, claims that she was "hoodwinked" into the relationship, as she said that she was only dating David, but that he was also dating Sian.
As she opened up to Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on their My Therapy Ghosted Me podcast, Una claimed that it was David who was pushing the "throuple" narrative.
Una said: "Dating HIM is the right term because that's how it was, it wasn't a throuple. We had a lovely relationship." She revealed that she and David met through the celebrity dating app, Raya, and that initially they were just friends.
Una told Vogue and Joanne: "I straight out asked him [David] 'what are you looking for?' because I did a Google and thought 'I'm probably going straight from the frying pan to the fire with this one because he did exactly to his wife what my ex husband [Ben Foden] did to me.' I didn't like that." She explained that David told her that he "doesn't believe that the traditional relationship exists anymore" so Una decided to not make things romantic between the pair, but their affections grew after they continued speaking, and they entered into a casually romantic relationship.
