Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank says it's 'risky business' to fan response as special soap episode confirmed

Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank joked his attendance at a recent soap bash was 'risky business' thanks to his choice of outfit.

The actor was among the stars hitting the red carpet ahead of the Radio Times Soap Awards last weekend. Daniel was joined at the soap event, held at Manchester's Midland Hotel, by co-stars Calum Lill (Joel Deering), Cait Fitto (Lauren Bolton), Channique Sterling-Brown (Dee-Dee Bailey), Peter Ash (Paul Foreman), Liam McCheyne (Dylan Wilson), Paddy Bever (Max Turner), Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth), Vicky Myers (Lisa Swain) and Charlie Wrenshall (Liam Connor).

The Manchester-based soap stars have since been taking to social media with snaps from the evening, from hitting the red carpet outside the historic city centre hotel to giving a glimpse inside from their very own Corrie table. But captioning the post, the soap star admitted: "Red carpet realness @radiotimes #SoapAwards. Playing a dangerous game wearing white but managed to get through the entire evening without spilling food or drink down myself!
